Outfits of the Day, Best Little Yarn Crawl in Texas Edition!

Outfit of the day… Sunday.

Berroco has some great pattern support, and this tank is one of the freebies.  I used only 2 skeins of Remix Light, a recycled and economical blend.  You can download the Minami pattern for free and check out my Ravelry project page.

2018 has been the year of the tank top.  One of my favorites is Southern Riviera, knitted with Willet by Quince.  Because of the lace detail at the top neckline, I took it to Target and purchased a black tank from the lingerie department that I wear backwards so that it comes up high enough to provide contrast.

Outfit of the day… Friday.

The opening day of crawl, I wore a skirt that I knitted with two skeins of sock yarn- you can check out my Ravelry project page.  It was adapted from an Icelandic designer’s dress pattern, Miðja, found in the wonderful book, Knitting with Icelandic Wool by Védís Jónsdóttir.
